He went on to serve onboard the USS Peleliu (LHA-5) during Operation Restore Hope Helicopter Light Support Squadron Four Three (HSL-43) as a Safe-for-Flight System Administrator/Data Analyst, deploying onboard USS Shoup (DDG-86), USS Howard (DDG-83), USS Antietam (CG-54) and USS Paul F. She then served as Command Master Chief onboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile-destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) forward deployed in Yokosuka, Command Master Chief onboard NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida, and is now serving onboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) in San Diego, California. Her duty assignments include USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) forward deployed in Yokosuka, Japan from April 2002 to August 2005, where she converted to the rate of Boatswain Mate, the USS Frank Cable (AS 40) forward deployed in Guam from October 2005 to April 2007, Navy Recruiting District Los Angeles, California, where she converted to the rate of Navy Career Counselor (CRF), and was selected for Chief Petty Officer in 2011, Navy Recruiting District Phoenix, Arizona, where she was selected for Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2014, the Senior Enlisted Academy from December 2015 to December 2017 as a Faculty Advisor, and USS Sentry (MCM 3) forward deployed in Bahrain from January 2018 to April 2019 where she was selected for Master Chief Petty Officer in 2018 and considered the first female Command Senior/Master Chief to serve onboard a minesweeper. She graduated from the Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 191 (Khaki) in October 2015, and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat (CMC/COB) course (Class 179) in November 2017. She also holds an Associate Degree in Business Management from Coastline Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Columbia College, and a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Central Michigan University. Her follow-on training includes Enlisted Navy Recruiting Orientation/ Recruiter Canvasser (ENRO), Career Recruiting Force Academy, and Navy Instructor Training. Upon completion of Basic Training Command, Great Lakes Illinois, she reported to Seaman Apprentice School, also in Great Lakes. In January 2001, she graduated high school and enlisted in the United States Navy on December 5, 2001. Reich is a native of Palo Alto, California and was raised in the city of San Francisco.
